I know that many of you have been asking about the future of Ridgewood Needlepoint.  I am very happy to share the news that after a transition period I will be the new owner of Ridgewood Needlepoint.   It was Vanessa’s wish that the shop would continue to flourish and I am happy that I can keep her wish.

During the coming months, I will be meeting with Gretchen, Irma & Stephanie to enhance our calendar with upcoming events once we are able to reopen to full capacity.  Hopefully that will be soon.  We will be working on some new classes, stitch guides and home study projects as well as some weekend stitching events.

I am looking forward to sharing our love of needlepoint, continuing my old friendships and building new friendships.

A few more new canvases just arrived!

Kirk & Bradley have designed a truly fun interactive Halloween Haunted House. The windows and the various pieces are finished with magnets so that they can be placed onto the house.    Use some glow in the dark threads for the ghosts, the skeleton & the moon behind the witch to help create a creepy Halloween house.  The best part of this project is that it can be handed down from generation to generation.  For more information call or send an email to the shop.

Kirk & Bradley has designed this delightful & fun Toy Advent Calendar.  The canvas is finished with magnets behind the windows so the smaller canvases will be held in place making them interactive and fun to have out during the holiday season.

The smaller canvases are wonderful travel projects and can be stitched with stash threads.  The larger canvas is beautiful painted.  Once this project is finished it will become a favorite family heirloom.

New canvases are arriving at the shop daily as we get ready for our soft reopening.  Here is a taste of one of our favorite designers, Susan Roberts.  A few of the canvases would be great for beginner stitchers. If you see something that catches your eye and you would like us to kit it for you, we are offering 10% off of your thread purchase.  Give us a call!

As we start entering the start of our new normal, we are sure you have plenty of stitched items ready for finishing.  We will be offering a 20% discount for all items brought in for finishing (not available for items that require framing) between June 16^th and July 15^th.

All canvases must be brought in by NOON, 12:00 pm of the day of the deadline. We cannot guarantee the return of any finished pieces brought in after this time.

As we enter the next phase of stores being able to reopen, we would like to share our new policies & procedures with you.

On Tuesday, June 16 the shop will be reopening with restrictions.  We will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. We are delighted that customers will now be allowed back in the shop by APPOINTMENT ONLY and it will be great to see you.  At this point we will only allow one customer in at a time.

You will need to call or email us ahead of time to make your appointment.  Appointments will be for 30 minutes.  The first available appointment will be at 10:00 am and the last appointment will be at 1:30 pm.  Walk-ins will not be allowed in the shop at this time.

It is very important for us to keep both our staff and our customers safe.  Staff members will be required to wears masks and all customers coming into the shop will be required to wear a mask as well (you must supply your own).  If you do not have a mask, we will be unable to allow you in the shop.  We will have hand sanitizer for you to use or if you are more comfortable please wear your own gloves (we will not have gloves available).

If you are not comfortable coming into the shop at this time, we will still offer curbside pick-up & drop-off.  Please call the shop before you come.

For the time being we will be unable to accepts any returns or exchanges of threads or canvases.
