We understand that everyone is ready to get back to what used to be normal and to be able to meet up and spend the afternoon stitching with their friends.  We feel the same way and are looking forward to being able to opening our doors and have the shop bustling again.

We have chosen to be extra cautious at the shop to help keep our staff and our customers safe.   For now, we will continue to monitor how the State of New Jersey is progressing with the continuing of flattening the curve of the virus.  When we feel more comfortable, we will begin loosening our current policy of having one customer in the shop at a time for 30 minutes.

We just received some great canvases from Kelly Clark.  So many to choose from!

I know that many of you have been asking about the future of Ridgewood Needlepoint.  I am very happy to share the news that after a transition period I will be the new owner of Ridgewood Needlepoint.   It was Vanessa’s wish that the shop would continue to flourish and I am happy that I can keep her wish.

During the coming months, I will be meeting with Gretchen, Irma & Stephanie to enhance our calendar with upcoming events once we are able to reopen to full capacity.  Hopefully that will be soon.  We will be working on some new classes, stitch guides and home study projects as well as some weekend stitching events.

I am looking forward to sharing our love of needlepoint, continuing my old friendships and building new friendships.

A few more new canvases just arrived!

Kirk & Bradley have designed a truly fun interactive Halloween Haunted House. The windows and the various pieces are finished with magnets so that they can be placed onto the house.    Use some glow in the dark threads for the ghosts, the skeleton & the moon behind the witch to help create a creepy Halloween house.  The best part of this project is that it can be handed down from generation to generation.  For more information call or send an email to the shop.

Kirk & Bradley has designed this delightful & fun Toy Advent Calendar.  The canvas is finished with magnets behind the windows so the smaller canvases will be held in place making them interactive and fun to have out during the holiday season.

The smaller canvases are wonderful travel projects and can be stitched with stash threads.  The larger canvas is beautiful painted.  Once this project is finished it will become a favorite family heirloom.
