New Stitch Monday – Alternating Cross & Upright Cross Stitch

The Alternating Cross & Upright Cross stitch is another stitch that I found when I was working on the Needle Deeva Flag canvas.   I used this stitch for the white stripes.  I was looking for an easy stitch that would work well with the Alternating Cross & Mosaic stitch that I wrote about last week.  Here again I used 4 strands of Splendor for both stitches.  This stitch can also be jazzed up by adding a coordinating metallic thread or one that is a shade darker or lighter.   Give it a try.
