The Jerusalem Cross stitch is very similar to the Rice stitches that I wrote about a few weeks ago. The base line for the Rice stitch is a cross stitch and the base line for the Jerusalem Cross stitch is an upright cross. As with the Rice stitch there are many ways that you can change the look of this stitch by using over-dyed threads or adding metallic threads. Give them a try.
