I am working on a new patriotic club for the shop and started to look for some stitches that I could use for the red & white stripes. I found a folder of pictures of different stitches that caught my interest. This was one of them. I named it Cross & Upright Cross Stitches. For the Cross stitch I used white Splendor and for the Upright Cross stitch I used Neon Rays. This pattern would be great for any type of threads that you choose to use. Now I need a stitch for the red stripe. Give it a try!
