Which stitch goes where.
Free stitch guides for the canvases we carry, written in the shop. Which stitch, which thread, how many strands.
What these are
A hand-painted canvas tells you what the picture is. It doesn't tell you which stitch to use for water, or fur, or a brick wall, and that's the difference between a piece that looks finished and one that looks flat.
A stitch guide is a page of instructions for one specific canvas: which stitch goes where, which threads, how many strands. We write them for canvases we carry, and we give them away.
