Stitcher of the Month!
Our Stitcher of the Month for October is Adrienne Peloso!
Adrienne is a gadget girl! She has been stitching since she was 18 years old. Her best friend from high school got her started, and her fingers have been flying ever since. Adrienne remembers her first major purchase was a Penelope needlepoint canvas. This was stitched for her Mom and was done all in basket weave. Her preferred threads are Watercolours, Kreinik, and Vineyard Silk. She prefers diagonal mosaic and often does different variations to spice things up. As far as accessories she has everything that you can imagine, and then some. See the picture below of all her goodies. Did we mention Adrienne has a stitching room too? How lucky is she J. Adrienne stores her canvases two ways. Canvases that are on bars are stored in project bags some are kitted some are not. They are then lined up one by one on a rack, keeping them straight, and protected. The canvases without bars are laid flat in a dresser draw. Threads are sorted by color on rings in a stackable drawer, and carded threads are sorted by brand. Adrienne just loves needlepoint- she says, “It just brings me joy, it is that simple!” Please stop by the store to view some of Adrienne’s beautiful needlework. It will be displayed during the month of October.
